Here is a tour for all those travelers who are interested in wildlife and India’s natural heritage with some monuments thrown in for good measure!! Although you may not be lucky enough to spot the “King of the Jungle” the Bengal Tiger, you are guaranteed sightings of fascinating wildlife. Starting with Kanha National Park where we sway to the rhythm of the elephants’ gait searching for the tiger for his kill. We follow up with a visit to the most famous tiger reserve portrayed in Kipling’s Jungle Book: Pench National Park, home to the highest density of herbivores in India. Finally we end our trip by gazing in modern Mumbai

Morning at leisure, afternoon transfer to the Airport to board flight to Nagpur. On arrival, transfer to Kanha National Park. Tonight enjoy the tribal dance of the local Baiga people. Overnight at Hotel.
Kanha National Park, located in Madhya Pradesh (Central India), is an outstanding Sanctuary located in the heart of tribal India. The Jungle is mixed deciduous, with sal trees and bamboo interspersed with open meadows where chital, swamp deer or barasingha, gaur (a type of wild ox) and blackbuck graze. It is not uncommon to see tiger and wild dog or dhole patrolling the open meadows of Kanha. We will visit the park twice a day by jeep safari for 2 full days. Overnight at Hotel.

After breakfast we drive to Bandhavgarh National Park, 197 kms northeast of Jabalpur in the Vindhyan Mountain range. It was once the private hunting reserve of the royal family off Rewa and is named after an ancient fort built on 800-metre high cliffs. The park is a mix of grassy meadows interspersed with forested valleys and is home to many of the same species as are found at Kanha National Park. However, it is known for its high density of tigers making sightings even more likely if the king of the jungle has eluded you so far. Over the next two days, visit the park by jeep each morning and afternoon. Overnight at Hotel.

After breakfast we drive to Jabalpur. On arrival lunch at local restaurant. After lunch and check in hotel, visit 12th century capital of Gond Kings. When British took over from Marathas in 1817 they established spacious cantonment with spacious colonial residences. Visit Madan Mahal. On arrival make evening free visit local bazar. Dinner/ overnight at hotel.
Morning leave after breakfast leave for Marble Rocks at Bhedaghat, continue your drive to Indira Priyadarshini PENCH N. PARK, it is portrayed in Kipling’s Jungle Book. Pench Tiger Reserve lies in the southern slopes of the Satpura ranges of Central India . It gets its name from the Pench river that flows through it. Pench is prime tiger country, it has highest density of herbivores in India. On arrival free time to enjoy surroundings of Pench. Dinner / Overnight at hotel.
Early morning Safari to visit park during sunrise. Back to resort for breakfast. Late noon safari to visit park till Sunset. Overnight at resort.
Today again will visit the park twice during sunrise as well evening by jeep . Overnight at resort.
Morning after breakfast drive to Nagpur Airport 110 KM. to board flight to Mumbai. On arrival transfer to hotel. Evening at leisure around Gateway of India and Colaba Streets. Overnight at hotel.
Mumbai (formerly Bombay) is India’s most important commercial & industrial centre,home to the glamorous and of course Bollywood. Today we have a full day sightseeing tour of Mumbai. Morning after breakfast we visit the Elephanta Island holds ancient cave temples dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva. Known as ELEPHANTA CAVES. By 1200 hrs back to jetty. Lunch at local restaurant . After lunch 1500 hrs Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya, originally named Prince of Wales Museum of Western India, is a museum in Bombay which documents the history of India from prehistoric to modern times. Another short drive to stop for photographs at Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, is a historic train station and UNESCO World Heritage Site in Mumbai, By evening enjoy sunset between Gateway of India and The Taj Mahal Hotel. Overnight at hotel.
