Morning after breakfast proceed to Dirang via Tezpur and Bomdila. Continue drive to Dirang. Dirang Dzong, which is a tribal area, on the shores of Dirang River. Upon arrival, check-in at hotel for overnight stay.
Morning after breakfast take a trip of Dirang Village, before we move to TAWANG. The architecture of the tribal Dirang Dzong is stunning. Visit Kalachakra Gompa, above Dirang Village and Gompa is over 500 years old. Post lunch drive down to Tawang. Enroute photo stop while crossing the 13,714 ft high Sela Pass. Moreover, it was said to be the battlefield where Indian and Chinese armies fought against each other. Arrive Tawang and check-in at hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Today full day tour to explore Tawang. Visit the world famous TAWANG MONASTERY (The Tawang Monastery also known as "Galden Namgyal Lhatse" was founded by Merak Lama Lodre Gyamtso in the year 1860-61 AD. It offers a picturesque view of the -Chu valley and monastery appears like a fort from a distance, Tawang monastery is the largest of its kind in the country and 2nd largest in Asia. which is the source of the spiritual life of the people of Arunachal Pradesh. Morning after breakfast drive to Bomdila (Breathtakingly beautiful Bomdila, 3,500 meters high in the Himalayas, is the headquarters of the west Kameng district in Arunachal Pradesh. On arrival check in hotel. After lunch visit Bomdila Monastery and Craft Centre & Ethnographic Museum. Later back to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Morning after breakfast drive down to Tezpur. Upon arrival, check-in at hotel. Post lunch, we will take you for a sightseeing of Tezpur covering DA-PARBATIA (The ruins of the door frame of Da-Parbatia Temple a few kms. from Tezpur town, is perhaps the finest and oldest specimen of sculptural or iconoclastic art in Assam. Its carving has the characteristics of the style of early Gupta School of sculpture. Evening back to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Morning after a relaxed breakfast you will proceed to Kaziranga. On arrival first we drive to KAMAKHYA TEMPLE: The temple is dedicated to goddess Kamakhya an incarnation of Sati. According to Shiva Purana to save the world from the Shiva’s Tandava Nrittya (Dance of Destruction), cut Sati’s dead body into 51 pieces with his Chakra. After visiting temple, we drive few km away to Kaziranga National Park, It is inhabited by the world's largest population of one-horned rhinoceroses. Before we check-in at Jungle Lodge. . You can also enjoy a beautiful sunset during this visit. Evening return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Early morning proceed for an hour of ELEPHANT SAFARI Kaziranga National Park to the Western Range of the Park The route traverses the southwest portion of the park. This range has maximum short grass areas and is the optimum habitat for Rhino and Water Buffalo. Post lunch, we will take you to another Jeep Safari to the Eastern (Agaratuli) Range. The area is excellent for birding. Includes nesting of the globally threatened Pallas's Fish Eagle and a colony of Spot-billed Pelicans. Evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight at resort.
Early morning JEEP SAFARI toward Centre Point of the park. Back to resort for breakfast. After breakfast drive to Shillong capital city of Meghalaya- Shillong, known as the Scotland of the East. On the way to Shillong, we will stop at the UMIAM LAKE: Umiam Lake is one of the biggest artificial lakes in Meghalaya The surrounding Sylvan Hills and green Khasi pines add to the majesty of this vast lake. Morning after breakfast we drive towards Cheerapunjee, the heaviest rainfall destination in the world. Enroute we visit MAWKDOK VALLEY: Mawkdok Valley Viewpoint is a wonderful vantage point located on Shillong - Cherrapunji road in Meghalaya. After we visit MAWSMAI CAVE: There are some places inside the cave where you will need to squeeze around and crawl – and this adds to the experience of cave exploration. Also visit NOHKALIKAI FALLS: It is the tallest waterfalls in India, as well visit SEVEN SISTERS’ FALLS: that are strategically arranged side by side on a high, rugged cliff, and looks very significant. After breakfast we start driving towards Mawlynnong. Here we can view the fascinating Living root bridge and Mawlynnong Village, Asia’s cleanest village. & drive to Dawki.to view UMNGOT RIVER: (Dawki River) has been making the rounds of the internet. The river seems like a mirror, reflecting a riverbed that is hanging in the sky. Evening back to Shillong for overnight stay at hotel.
