Arunachal Pradesh has the highest concentration of scheduled tribes in India. Additionally, this region is probably one of the last remaining outposts in the country where tribes still live a primitive existence, seeking out a living from the land and maintaining a harmonious relation with nature. The tribal groups speak about 50 languages. The Adi, who constitute the largest tribal group in the state, live in the central region, who grow great variety of medicinal plants like ginseng, yew that used for treatment and cure of various ailments. ARRIVE DIBRUGARH - PASIGHAT

On Arrival at Dibrugarh airport, we drive to Pasighat. Enroute cross the mighty Brahmaputra River by ferry to reach the road to pasighat and visit Adi (Minyong) village like Rani. Overnight at Pasighat.

PASIGHAT – ALONG

After breakfast we drive to Aalo enroute visit Adi (Minyong) tribal villages like Yaksi, panging and traditional Bamboo Hanging bridge over Sinag River. Afternoon visit museum and sale emporium. Overnight stay at homestay.

ALONG

Today after breakfast we enjoy day at Along exploring Adi villages - It is situated near Assam’s border - The valley is picturesque surrounded by mountains with rivers flowing through them - The place has various attractions like Kane Wildlife Sanctuary. The Hanging Bridge on River Siang is made of cane and bamboo - One would go river rafting and trekking if you are keen to have some activity to challenge your physical ability - Evening free to stroll around the market area. Overnight stay at homestay.

ALONG – DAPORIJO

Enroute visit Adi (Galo) and Tagin Tribal village. Adi (Galo) built the house on the stone without use the nail. On arrival check in to hotel. Overnight Stay at hotel.

DAPORIJO – ZERO

Today we drive to Zero about 170 kms enroute visit Hill Miri tribal village and Nishi tribal village. Ziro is a small town of Arunachal Pradesh at an elevation of nearly 5754 feet and is one of the most famous hill station in the state - It comprises the original Ziro village and the new Zero town (Hapoli) - The distance between these two places is 05 kilometers - There is the well-known Talle Sanctuary - It is well known for Apatani Tribe, which is found in this region - Also known as the land of Apatanis - famous for the conservation and Paddy - Fish culture which is unique amongst the Arunachal tribal. On arrival check in to hotel. Dinner / Overnight stay at hotel.

ZERO

After breakfast visit Hong village, one of the largest tribal village in Asia. Later visit other ethnic villages, Explore the tribal villages inhabited by Apatani tribal who believe in sun and the moon as a god and have traditional altar in their home made up of Bamboo and Cane the main inhabitant of Ziro area. Uniqueness of Apatani tribe is tattooing on women face and its nose plug Five small rivulets namely Subansiri, Nishi, Apatani, Dafala and Miri flow nearby. KilePakho, one of the high mountain ridge rich in biological diversity with flora and fauna and a Handicraft Centre - Evening free to visit around the market area. Dinner / Overnight stay at hotel.

ZERO – ITANAGAR

Early morning breakfast after drive to Itanagar approx. 140 kms about 04 - 05 hrs drive. Itanagar is situated at the foothills of Himalayas. Interesting places around are historical fort called Ita-fort which dates to the 15th century - Legendary Ganga Lake or GyakarSinyi, the new Buddhist temple known as Buddha Vihar and the Tribal Museum. On the way explore Nishi Tribal Villages. On arrival check in to hotel. Dinner / Overnight stay at hotel.

ITANAGAR – DIBRUGARH

Morning after breakfast we drive to Dibrugarh. On arrival check in to hotel. Evening free for local exploration. Overnight stay at hotel.

DIBRUGARH – BAGDOGRA – GANGTOK

Morning after breakfast we will transfer Airport to board flight to Bagdogra. On arrival drive to Gangtok. Once reach check-in to the hotel. Later free at leisure or local exploration. In evening visit HANDLOOM AND HANDICRAFTS (Closed on Sundays): -Traditional Sikkimese art and handicrafts. Overnight stay at hotel.

GANGTOK

Morning proceeds to visit RUMTEK MONASTERY. Gangtok is the awe-inspiring Rumtek Monastery the world Dharma Chakra Centre and the seat of His Holiness, the Gyalwa Karmapa. After we visit ENCHEY MONASTERY: Perched on a ridge above Gangtok, the Enchey Monastery is nestled within lush woods with a spectacular view of Gangtok town. Later Visiting NAMGYAL INSTITUTE OF TIBETOLOGY (closed on Sundays): It promotes research in Mahayana Buddhism, language, and tradition of Tibet. It has one of the world’s largest collections of rare books and manuscripts on Mahayana Buddhism. Adjacent to the institute are two exquisite stupas, the Do Drul Chorten, built to commemorate the victory of good over evil and the Jhang Chub Chorten, built in the memory of Thrukshik Rinpoche, a great spiritualist and interpreter of Buddhism. GANGTOK – DARJEELING

Morning after breakfast we drive to Darjeeling “Queen of Hills”. DARJEELING: is the famous hill station of India which offers breathtaking views of snow-capped mountain, with the Kanchendzonga rising higher than all the others. On arrival check in to hotel. we visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute- which was started by Everest climber Tenzin Norgay after he climbed Mt. Everest. and Tibetan Refugee Centre. Overnight at hotel.

DARJEELING

Today early morning we visit TIGER HILL, the highest point in this area, at 2590M. Tiger Hill is famous for its magnificent views of Kanchenjunga, the world’s third highest summit (8598M). On a clear day, Mount Everest is also visible. Noon we board a toy train to the scenic hill station of Darjeeling, where we visit the Ghoom Monastery- the oldest monastery in the area. Evening free at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

DARJEELING - BAGDOGRA AIRPORT

Morning after breakfast we check out from our hotel and drive to Bagdogra, to catch our onward journey flight to home.
