Spiti – Kinnaur are two most fascinating regions of India fringing the Tibetan Plateau.  SPITI ‘The Middle Kingdom’ is one of the last undisturbed enclaves of Tibetan Buddhism on Indian soil. Experience colonial architecture of Shimla, or picturesque village of Chitkul (3450 m) the last village on the old Indo-Tibetan trade route. Visiting 800 years old Bhimakali Temple fine example of Hill Architecture, Or old Buddhist Monasteries on Ki, Kibber, Kaza. Visiting famous BRIJESHWARI TEMPLE: where Goddess Sati sacrificed herself in the honor of Lord Shiva in her father’s Yagya. Shiva took her body on his shoulder and started Tandava. In order to stop him from destroying the world Lord Vishnu divided her body into 51 parts with his Chakra when her left breast fell at this spot, thus making it a Shakti Peetha. Tour ends with a visit to the holiest shrine the Golden Temple -Amritsar and closing ceremony at Wagah: Indian-Pakistan border.

DELHI – CHANDIGARH – SHIMLA (ALT. 2,276M)

Today Morning we will take our train to Chandigarh by Shatabdi (breakfast on board). Arrival in Chandigarh and visit Rock garden, a unique garden where stone sculptures, various materials and urban waste rub shoulders! The self-taught founding artist Nek Chand made his dream come true by built a magical garden. Later Lunch in town, then drive to Himalayan foothills about 04 hrs to reach Shimla. On arrival check in to the hotel. Dinner / Overnight stay at hotel.

SHIMLA – SARAHAN (ALT. 2165M) (165 kms / 7 hrs.)

Morning after breakfast we will drive Shimla to Sarahan via Kufri, Theog, Fagu, Narkanda, Rampur. Rampur we will have our lunch. Post lunch drive to Sarahan, On arrival check in to the hotel. From Sarahan you can see a view of Srikhand Mahadev Peak & famous 800 year old Bhimakali Temple. One of the Best Examples of Hill Architecture. Evening, Enjoy Panoramic View of Shrikhand Peaks. Also Visit Bhimakali Temple – One of the 51 Shaktipeeths, Attend Evening Aarti Ceremony. Thereafter, we will return to Hotel. Dinner / Overnight stay at Hotel.

SARAHAN – SANGLA (ALT. 2700M) – CHITKUL (ALT 3450M)

Check out and drive to Sangla (95 Kms/4 Hrs.) which has earned distinction of one of the most beautiful valleys in the Himachal. Upon arrival at Sangla visit- Kamru village and make a small walk to visit Kamru Fort which has a temple dedicated to Kamaksha Devi. On arrival check in to the hotel. Post Lunch Excursion tour visit the picturesque village of Chitkul (3450 mtrs.) This is the last village on the old Indo-Tibetan trade route. Later returned to Sangla. Dinner / Overnight stay at hotel.

SANLGA – KALPA

Morning After breakfast, leave for Kalpa (50 kms.- 3 Hrs.) Enroute visit the monastery in Reckong- Peo with a 60 ft tall statue of Buddha. Further drive to Kalpa. On arrival check in to the hotel. You can get a fabulous view of Kinner Kailash 6050 meters from here in Kalpa. After lunch, have some rest. Evening visit KALPA MONASTERY: The monastery is centuries old and the signature of Kinnaur based Buddhist monastery which was also a great source of learning and praying for the locals. Built in a very Buddhist influenced Kinnauri style, it is a peaceful place and later we will visit a local village. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

KALPA – MOORANG (ALT 3591M) – NAKO (ALT. 3662M) (120 kms / 05 hrs.)

Morning after breakfast we start your Drive towards Moorang. After an hour's drive, we walk to the beautiful village of Moorang, which is known for its scenic views and apricot orchards. Here we will also find the old fort houses and local temples. On the way to Nako, we will pass Khab where the Spiti and Sutlej rivers meet. Finally, we will reach Nako which is home to the Nako Lake and a Buddhist Monastery with some very historical paintings. On arrival check in to Fixed Camp. Dinner / Overnight stay at Fixed Camp.

NAKO – TABO (3050M) (105 kms / 4 hrs)

This morning we will drive towards Spiti Valley. Enroute we visit Gui Village (3350m) where we may see the naturally preserved mummy which is believed to be that of a Llama in a sitting position. Later we will continue driving towards Tabo Village (3200m) which is home to Tabo Monastery, the largest in the Spiti Valley. Dinner / Overnight stay at hotel.

TABO – DHANKAR – LHALUNG –KAZA (85kms / 3 hrs)

We will drive to Dhankar (3984m) which is home to a monastery and the fascinating Vairochana. Then we will trek for an hour to visit the sacred Dhankar Lake. Back in the jeeps, we will continue to visit Lhalung monastery, which is one of the oldest in India. Further drive to Kaza on arrival check in to the hotel. Dinner / Overnight at hotel.

KAZA EXCURSION KYE AND KIBBER (4200M)

Morning having breakfast, we will leave to visit KIBBER VILLAGE: Kibber village in Spiti is the valley’s most populous. It used to be considered ‘one of the highest in the world,’ albeit such nomenclature is varied and difficult to validate. Kibber diaries cover everything from ancient monasteries to a cold-desert wildlife sanctuary to highland excursions. & KI MONASTERY: Kye Gompa (also spelled Ki, Key or Kee - pronounced like English key) is a Tibetan Buddhist monastery located on top of a hill at an altitude of 4,166 metres (13,668 ft) above sea level, close to the Spiti River, in the Spiti Valley of Himachal Pradesh. It is the biggest monastery of Spiti Valley and a religious training centre for Llamas. It reportedly had 100 monks in 1855. The walls of the monastery are covered with paintings and murals, an example of 14th century monastic architecture, which developed as the result of Chinese influence. . In the afternoon, we will visit Langza Village, enjoying the spectacular views on the way, which is a very small village but an excellent fossil hunting spot. Then we will drive to Komik Village which is the highest motorable village in the World. Return to Kaza. Dinner / Overnight stay at hotel.

MANALI ENROUTE VISIT KUNZUM – ROTHANG LA

Today morning after early breakfast we will drive from Kaza to Manali enroute crossing over KUNZAM PASS: Kunzum Pass is a beautiful mountain pass in the Kunzum Range of Himalayas. Located in the beautiful state of Himachal Pradesh at an altitude of 15,060 feet above sea level, the Kunzum Pass is a breathtaking sight to behold. One of the exciting features of the pass is the fifteen hairpin turns along the way. and ROHTANG PASS: point is well known for its unparalleled natural beauty and is one of the most essential attraction points in the region. The pass is located just 50 km away from the main town, and is easily accessible by road. One of the major attractions of Rohtang La is that it is one of the highest passes in the Himalayas. Located at a staggering height of 3978 meters above sea level, the pass offers some of the most pristine views of the Himalayas you will ever get to sea. On arrival check in at the hotel. MANALI VISIT

Morning visit Hadimba Devi Temple: The Hadimba Temple is a unique shrine dedicated to Hadimba Devi, who was the wife of Bhīma and mother of Ghatothkach. Surrounded by gorgeous cedar forests, this beautiful shrine is built on a rock which is believed to be in the image of goddess Hadimba herself. & MANU TEMPLE: Manu Temple is an old temple located at a distance of 3 km from the main market of Manali. The entire shrine of Manu Temple is dedicated to Manu – the Indian Sage, who was acknowledged to be the creator of this world. In fact, some legends rely heavily on the fact that the present-day temple is the exact place where sage Manu would meditate regularly. & Evening free for local Mall Road exploration. MANDI VIA REWALSAR

This morning after breakfast we will start our drive towards Rewalsar, its beauty and famous Rewalsar Lake. Rewalsar Lake or Tso Pema Lotus Lake is a mid-altitude lake located on a mountain spur in Mandi district, 25 km south-west from Mandi and 145 km from Manali. Its elevation is about 1,360 meters above sea level. Upon arrival visit to Holy Lake of Rewalsar, Nyingma–Pa Buddhist Monastery and Padmasambhava cave (Second largest high Stupa in the world). After that visit we will drive to Mandi. On arrival check in to the hotel. Dinner / Overnight stay at hotel.

MANDI – PALAMPUR VIA BIR-BAIJNATH

Today we will drive to Palampur, a green hill station in the Kangra Valley in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, surrounded by tea gardens and pine forests. First we visit BIR-BAIJNATH TEMPLE: Baijnath temple is the famous temple of Himachal Pradesh. This temple is very old and this temple is related to Lord Shiva. Baijnath temple was made in the 13th century. This temple is made in Shikhra style and Nagra style. There are many small gardens and trees which cover the outer wall of the temple. This temple is made in conical shape. A big statue of Lord Shiva is situated here. There are many statues present here. The old architecture of the temple has many pictures on the walls of the temple. These pictures are so beautiful and they give us the knowledge of old architecture. Later we will drive to Palampur. PALAMPUR – DHARAMSHALA VIA MASROOR TEMPLE & BRIJESHWARI

This morning we drive to Dharamshala enroute we visit MASROOR TEMPLE: The Masroor Temples, also referred to as Masroor Temples or Rock-cut Temples at Masroor, is an early 8th-century complex of rock-cut Hindu temples in the Kangra Valley of Beas River in Himachal Pradesh, India. The temples face northeast, towards the Dhauladhar range of the Himalayas. They are a version of North Indian Nagara architecture style, dedicated to Shiva, Vishnu, Devi and Saura traditions of Hinduism, with its surviving iconography likely inspired by a monotheistic framework. Later we visit BRIJESHWARI TEMPLE: A legend says that after Goddess Sati sacrificed herself in the honor of Lord Shiva in her father's Yagya. Shiva took her body on his shoulder and started Tandava. In order to stop him from destroying the world Lord Vishnu divided the body of Sati into 51 parts with his Chakra. The left breast of Sati fell at this spot, thus making it a Shakti Peetha. Dharamshala Sightseeing. Today explore McLeod Ganj; visit Buddhist monasteries and the Parliament. Wander through the wonderful bazaar with its strong Tibetan influence. In the evening, we will return to the hotel. Dinner / Overnight stay at hotel.

AMRITSAR VISIT BAGHA BORDER

Today early morning check-out of your hotel and proceed to Amritsar. Late afternoon, proceed to Wagah border to experience the Indo-Pakistan parade and lowering of the flag ceremony. On Arrival check in to the hotel. Dinner / Overnight stay at hotel.

AMRITSAR SIGHTSEEING

Early morning visit Darbar Sahib Ceremony prayer. As the Gurudwara in Amritsar stays open round the clock, there are no specific Golden Temple visiting hours. The months of November and April are the best time to visit Golden Temple as devotees visit this Gurudwara during Guru Nanak Jayanti and festival of Baisakhi. There are no fixed Golden Temple timings as the holy site is open throughout the day and night. The same is applicable for Golden Temple langar timings as it serves food 24 hours a day.

After ceremony return to hotel have breakfast, later visit JALIAN WALLAH BAGH: Jallianwala Bagh is a historic garden and ‘memorial of national importance’ close to the Golden Temple complex in Amritsar, Punjab, India, preserved in the memory of those wounded and killed in the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre that occurred on the site on the festival of Baisakhi, 13 April 1919. Later visit DURGIANA MANDIR: Durgiana Mandir, is a Hindu temple situated in the city of Amritsar, Punjab, India. Though a Hindu temple, its architecture is similar to the Sikh Harmandir Sahib. This temple derives its name from the Goddess Durga, the chief Goddess who is worshipped here. Overnight at the hotel.
